Hindu college has always striven for excellence. As always it showed good examination results this year. At the under graduate level, out of 408 students who took the various final University examinations, 370 were successful, giving a pass percentage of 90% : 221 or 54% were placed in first division, 116 or 28% obtained second division and only 33 or 8% got a third division. At the post graduate level, out of 258 students who took the various final University examinations, 249 were successful, giving a pass percentage 97% : out of these 151 or 59% were placed in first division, 84 or 31% obtained second division and only 14 or 5% were placed in the third division.
